About Jon Ireland
Jon Ireland, the founder of Flying Kite, holds post-graduate diplomas
from the Institute of Direct Marketing and the Institute of Copywriting.
Jon's
career experience combines the best in business communications and
charity fundraising. He is a graphic designer, programmer, musician
and copywriter.
Jon began the Flying Kite website with the aim of teaching fundraisers
how to write better copy and improve their marketing skills. Since 2004
www.flyingkite.co.uk has helped thousands of visitors learn more about
direct marketing and copywriting.
In it's first three months online, Jon's tutorial, "How to Improve Your Fundraising Letter in Ten simple steps", was downloaded by over 2,000 unique visitors. By 2008 the tutorial had received 6,000 unique page visits. Without any paid advertising, the Flying Kite website had received 50,000 unique visits.
